Gardinian Ceremony: Avendtro

There are a few gods in the Gardinian universe that no one wants to celebrate. These gods typically rule domains that bring pain instead of comfort, heartache instead of love. However, the good can’t be truly good without a little bit of bad to balance the universe out. August 25 marks one of the Gardinian holidays that no one really looks forward to celebrating, but the gods must be honored or they may decide to become more meddlesome than they already are.

As the Goddess of Adultery, Var is the brokenhearted sister to Afri, Goddess of Love. She suffers the scorn of those who have been victim to those who relish in the behaviors found in the domain she presides over. August 25 is Avendtro, her day of recognition, but who wants to celebrate in the arms of a cheater?
